Cartoonizer
This is a cite that allows you to take any photo and turn it into a cartoon. you can choose from a variety of cartoon styles. Below are pictures of my cat Matilda in a few of the different cartoon styles.
These could be used to have the students make their own profile on your class blog or in the classroom to hang the first week of school. They could also be used to make presentations more interesting.

Answer Garden
This is a site that allows you to make a question and people answer, it compiles the short answers into a visual. The bigger the text, the more people chose that answer. You could use this in the classroom to take a survey, create a list of project topics. It is easy to use and free for everyone.

Prezi
This is a cool way to upgrade from that boring power point to something more fun and engaging. I learned about these in my first technology class my freshman year. I had never even made a 3D power point before and at first I was intimidated However, I soon found how easy and fun this was. there is sooo much more you can do with Prezi. Whats really nice is that because it is on their website, you cannot lose it. And no need to remember a flash drive Students can make their own Prezi to present to the class on a any subject. Prezi engages the students much more than a boring power point. On the first website I made, I showed how I took a power point, made it 3D, then turned it into a Prezi. My students won't have to take all those steps, but it made it easier for me to learn. Below are a few videos from the Prezi website showing Prezi in action.
